COULD YOU FIND A SEAT?
SATURDAY NIGHT'S CROWD WAS THE LARGEST YET! Kenny HE COUNTED 195!
Todd and I meet tomorrow (Wednesday) with the designer to discuss our move next door. That should begin to proceed forward soon. Then we will meet with a private company who is doing some of our interior build out as a gift to The House.
We are growing RAPIDLY!
Our after-school program population grows almost daily.
HERE IS A MAJOR REQUEST
We NEED people who will give about one hour to help pick up students between the hour of 3-4 p.m. from their assigned schools. This is a serious need. Some schools have already assigned The House to their bus stop lists. However, it will take some time for the other schools we serve, particularly across town, to roll out our requests. - Even if you are only available certain days of the week, WE NEED YOU. You will enjoy the time you get to spend with the students.
Beginning next Monday (Feb 27) I will be out of town for 2 weeks. I am going to Africa to find a location for The House to be built there. Isn't that incredible?
Helen will also be out of town a few days next week. So that puts all of this in Todd's, Roni's, and Neil's laps. And it is just literally going to be overwhelming without some of you--our volunteers--coming along side of us for these days. Please contact me, Todd, Roni or Helen and let us know how and when you can help.
